Your toll tag,
made simple.

Open the box. Leave it open. Enjoy Ireland.
We’ll take care of the tolls.

Toll charges included in your rental

  1. Open before you drive

While parked, swing the front cover to the right, as shown below. Leave the tag attached to the windscreen.

  2. Keep it open

The OPEN position activates the toll service. Keep the box open throughout your trip.

  3. Follow the toll signs

Choose a lane marked for electronic tags / eToll. Slow down, follow the posted speed limit and leave space ahead.

On Dublin’s M50

No barrier. No need to stop.

The M50 toll is collected as you drive under the overhead gantry. Keep your tag open and continue normally. Your toll is included, so you don’t need to pay separately online.

Barrier not opening?

Stop safely and check the box is fully open. If the barrier stays down, use the lane’s help button or intercom and tell the attendant you have a toll tag. Wait for their instructions; don’t reverse or follow another car through.
