Downtown Belfast

The Belfast city branch is on Cromac Street, south of the city centre and a short walk from the Cathedral Quarter. If you are spending a night or two in Belfast before hitting the road, this is the pickup point that saves you airport parking fees.

Belfast is a city worth exploring on foot first: the Titanic Museum, St George's Market, and the murals of the Falls and Shankill Roads are all within the city. When you are ready to drive, the M2 takes you north to the Causeway Coast, and the M1 heads south toward Dublin.

This branch is also the most convenient drop-off if your trip ends in Belfast city.

contact us if yours isn't here
Where is the Belfast city centre branch?
The branch is at 157 Cromac Street, south of the city centre. It is a short walk from the Cathedral Quarter and about 10 minutes from the Titanic Quarter by car.
Should I pick up in Belfast city or at the airport?
If you plan to spend time in Belfast first, pick up in the city centre. You avoid airport parking charges and can explore on foot before collecting your car. If you are driving straight out of Belfast, the airport is faster.
Is there parking at the Belfast city branch?
Yes. You can park at the branch when collecting or returning your car. For overnight city parking during your stay, there are several multi-storey car parks within a few minutes.
Can I explore Belfast without a car?
Belfast city centre is very walkable. The Titanic Quarter, Cathedral Quarter, Victoria Square, and most pubs and restaurants are within 20 minutes on foot. A car is best for day trips outside the city.
What day trips can I do from Belfast?
The Giant's Causeway and Antrim Coast are a full day. The Mourne Mountains are about 1 hour 15 minutes south. Derry / Londonderry is 1 hour 30 minutes northwest. You can also drive south to Newgrange (about 1 hour 30 minutes).
