Car rental at Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport is where most visitors first touch Irish soil. The desk is inside the car hire compound, a short shuttle ride from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. You will not need to queue at a generic counter or hunt for a bus stop.

From the airport you are twenty minutes to Dublin city on the M1, an hour south to the Wicklow Mountains on the M11, or three hours west to Galway on the M6. Every major motorway in the country starts within a few kilometres of the terminal.

If you are landing on a transatlantic red-eye and just want to get moving, this is the smoothest start. Flight delays are monitored at the airport, and there is nothing to sign that you have not already agreed to online.
